The original BRUSH BOX vineyard was planted with the premium grape varieties of Shiraz, Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Chardonnay and Verdelho.
BRUSH BOX is part of the recently formed Private Irrigation District of the Broke Fordwich locality. This will ensure adequate water is always available for the production of premium quality wines.

The Broke Fordwich region is blessed with areas dominated by soils ranging from deep rich red basalt to sandy loam. The wines gain their richness and depth of flavour from the deep red volcanic soils supplemented by spice and minerals from the sandy loams. BRUSH BOX wine has had the benefit of these attributes.

We are currently looking to develop a new vineyard which, will be planted to Shiraz and Chardonnay – varieties the Hunter Valley is renowned for.
